An initial evaluation will take between 45 minutes and one hour. Thereafter, depending on the injury, plan on 30 – 60 minutes per visit.

Not at all. Most patients treated are unaware of how their painful condition started. Sometimes it is an accumulation of physical stresses. In some cases symptoms do not develop for months or even years after a minor injury. If you have any degree of pain and it is impacting the way you live your life, you are a candidate to receive the benefits of physical therapy.

Yes. We will fax an initial evaluation and discharge summary to your physician. In addition, we fax progress notes to your doctor if you return for a follow-up.

Yes. For best results, we typically prescribe exercises which are easily done at home or work to address the long-lasting issues of muscle balance, stabilization, and posture that are often a significant contribution to your condition. Exercises prescribed are customized for the individual needs of each patient.
